A lot of the time in SaaS sales, it’s easy to list off features and statistics and dive right into a demo of the product, which can overwhelm prospects or cause them to tune out on a call or WebEx. Avoid being put on mute after effectively securing a demo by listening, engaging with, and asking effective questions to your prospect. Find out what the root problem or pain point in your prospect’s current business is, and adjust your demo to highlight the specific areas of your solution that can help fix their current pain points.

Taylor, what is your favorite restaurant and why?

27 Restaurant on Miami Beach has amazing Mediterranean/Latin fusion food and even better drinks. On the mainland, my go to is Mignonette for fresh seafood.

What drove you to begin a sales career in eCommerce?

I previously worked with an eCommerce retailer handling their email marketing and helping them replatform their website. This experience opened my eyes to the many opportunities and options available with the different providers that work directly with eCommerce retailers to improve their online sales and customer experiences.

How does SkyBOX Checkout help etailers?

SkyBOX Checkout is an end-to-end international eCommerce solution. We help etailers with all aspects of expanding their sales to customers from outside of the US. We do this by offering a localized shopping experience and handling all international payment processing and logistics.

Our product removes a lot of the traditional risk of international expansion like fraud and chargebacks, and with just one integration retailers are able to transform their website with local payment methods, local currency calculation, and local promotion/pricing strategies. Our solution makes it easy for retailers to sell internationally and not leave unconverted international traffic on their site, while also providing a transparent buying experience and delivery solution for international customers buying from US retailers.

How are you using etailinsights to source eCommerce Leads or build a Directory of Online Retailers?

Etailinsights has been a great time saver for developing sales lists and reviewing potential clients to see if they would be a good fit for our solution. It’s an amazing tool to be able to check an eTailer’s website and instantly know what eCommerce platform they are using, who they ship with currently, and their current domestic sales volume. The chrome plug-in is a great way to grab a quick snapshot of a retailer’s website.

What is your favorite Top 40 eCommerce Conference  and why?

IRCE has been a staple for me since I first went as an attendee while working directly in eCommerce sales. Chicago is also my hometown, so I love any excuse to visit in the summertime! SkyBOX Checkout will be exhibiting there again this year, come stop by and say hi at our booth 1849!
