By Darren Pierce on Jun 9, 2015 6:00:00 AM

Having the chance to sit outside in the sun with a good book is one of my favorite parts of summer. Even with a chaotic weekly schedule, I like to take as much time as possible outside of work to turn as many pages as possible.

If you’re a big reader like me and are in need of a new book—or if you’re just looking for different ways to improve your sales skills—this list is for you.

Here are 7 must-read eCommerce books you should add to your summer reading list.

1) The Creator’s Code: The Six Essential Skills of Extraordinary Entrepreneurs

Amy Wilkinson has done her research! Based on 200 interviews with some of today’s best entrepreneurs (including the founders of LinkedIn, Chipotle, and eBay), she discusses the six skills needed to turn a small business into a big company.

2) Things a Little Bird Told Me: Creative Secrets from the Co-Founder of Twitter

Biz Stone, Twitter founder, discusses the importance and power of creativity and how you can harness it to take your career to the next level. He includes tons of interesting, personal stories.

3) Google Analytics Integrations

We discuss data a lot on this blog. And for good reason. It’s important. Learn how to use Google Analytics to turn raw data into a lead-generating machine!

4) The Complete Guide to B2B Marketing

Learn the newest and most effective tactics, tools, and techniques to compete online. Top B2B marketer Kim Ann Kings brings you a nice collection of best practices in this book.

5) Personalized Digital Advertising

Data and technology are changing the way we sell and market. Considered the “definitive handbook for the modern marketer,” this book takes you through the ins and outs of succeeding online.

6) Understanding Social Media: How to Create a Plan for Your Business that Works

It’s hard to have an eCommerce book list without including at least one about social media. If you want practical advice on how to develop an effective social media strategy, pick this one up.

Hopefully, you find as much use out of these books as I did! At the very least, they’re sure to fill up your summer reading time.
