You’ll know when one of the companies has a new contact, when a contact has left, as well as any technology changes to the companies you’re watching. Ana, what is your favorite restaurant where you live and why?

I have many favorite restaurants, but I enjoy making food at home and preparing tasty dinners for my
family. From tri-tip and minestrone soup to many Mexican dishes, my family enjoys it all, and we love to hang out while eating some good food.

What drove you to begin a sales career in eCommerce?

I moved up to manager status at a young age, running an advertising office, and later got to see the operations side of it. I got the bug for learning how everything ran, how it could help my account managers, and ultimately lead to supporting our clients better. I got the call to figure out how to provide companies with better insight and information that would help their businesses. And thanks to a wonderful role model, our sales manager, I was inspired to be more like her. I moved from account management to sales and have been doing it since. I truly enjoy getting to know each company’s real needs and building trust and relationships that last many years.

How does Pitney Bowes help etailers? 

Pitney Bowes is an ecommerce logistics company. We help enterprise and mid-market retailers and brands, 3PLs, and shipping platforms with our modular and flexible “Designed Delivery, Returns and Cross-Border” services that we configure around the unique needs of every client—supported by our domestic and international transportation network. We serve some of the most iconic brands in the US and around the globe with benefits ranging from cost optimization to improved customer experience and consultative support. How are you using etailinsights to find eCommerce leads?

I use etailinsights as my go-to source for finding the right contacts that fit our business model. I can filter the database by companies in my region, the estimated online sales, estimated orders shipped per day, and target specific types of companies. I especially like the ability to push contacts directly into Salesforce to quickly begin working on them. Furthermore, company Watch alerts and the ability to add notes to contacts help me stay on track. I work continuously in etailinsights and LinkedIn and find using both tools extremely beneficial and helpful in my prospecting and research.

What is your favorite eCommerce Conference and why?

Shoptalk is a really great conference. It has strong attendance from many retailers and supply chain technologies, and it’s just so cool to interact with awesome people and learn about the emerging technologies that are evolving to help with many logistical challenges.
