Power User Spotlight: Nick Hein, Retention Science
Nick's Hack: Spend the extra time to really know your customer
The best hack isn't a hack at all, but rather a call to put in the work to empathize with your customer. At the end of the day, you'll close more deals and connect with more leads if you truly understand the problems your customers deal with every day. Read the same blogs they do, notice what the shifts in the market are, and understand where budgets are being added and being cut. The more you can see yourself in their shoes, the better you'll be at relating to them and offering a real solution instead of being just another vendor.

Nick, what is your favorite restaurant in Los Angeles, and why? There's too many to choose from to have a favorite. My old reliable and consistent is In-n-Out. A more traditional restaurant would probably be Majordomo or Bestia. Undiscovered gems would be WoodSpoon or Porridge & Puffs.
