Not quite a hack, but I think genuine connection is the most important piece in sales. It can be in various forms: an authentic connection to the problem facing a retailer, relative or shared experiences, etc. etailinsights provides us with the necessary eCommerce intel and the right people within that organization for us to approach new connections with genuine interest. etailinsights is the fast and easy way to set the foundation for having a good first conversation and hopefully a subsequent relationship. Maura, what is your favorite restaurant where you live and why?
Gar Woods Grill & Pier - it’s a Lake Tahoe institution uniquely situated right on the water. You can roll up in a car, boat, or bike!
What drove you to begin a sales career in eCommerce?
I have been in the eCommerce space since 2015, and I am passionate about helping people find the right solution for their needs. I had started in a marketplace and support role where I was hearing daily about the types of solutions merchants needed and the problems they were facing. I think this background led me to a more proactive role in sales to help solve those merchant needs.

etailinsights has been a critical tool, not only for myself but for our whole team. etailinsights, via the Google Chrome plugin, makes for a very quick tool to help us evaluate a merchant and decide if they are a good Ideal Customer Profile fit. If they are, it helps us identify the right people to reach out to (by role) and have important contextual information we need to have a meaningful conversation. We get a glimpse into what types of software and services merchants are using, which helps us shape the value proposition and solution we can pitch. Overall, etailinsights helps identify the right merchants and how to best be prepared to help them.

Magento Imagine - I know this one isn't current anymore, but it is still my favorite.
