Megan, what is your favorite restaurant in NYC?
Wild Ink at Hudson Yards! The elevated American-Asian plates all come out ready to be shared and are quickly cleaned by a party. It is my go-to restaurant when going out with my friends. We order almost one of everything.
What drove you to begin a sales career in eCommerce?
My first job was in retail, and I worked my way up in the store over the years. As my love for online shopping grew, I knew others shared that and I started as a personal shopper for an online luxury boutique. I found success largely due to my passion for self expression through fashion, and my love of making friends. It was a natural fit. Finding so much joy in my personal relationships, I sought to reach larger audiences in conversation and shifted gears to business development.

etailInsights has proven to be a vital tool in building out our sales pipeline. My favorite tool is building very specific lists based on vertical, commerce platform, and high growth eCommerce companies. If I know I will be traveling, I'm able to look up companies that are headquartered in the city I will be visiting and reach out directly and offer to take them out for coffee. It is especially helpful gaining access to someone's direct phone number & extension and starting a conversation that way! What is your favorite Top 40 eCommerce Conference and why?
NRF Retail's BIG Show is always fun for me to kick off the new year as it typically falls right after the holidays in January. It is so great getting to see everyone in the industry refreshed and to hear about the new things coming out. Shoptalk is a close second as they always have some great speakers and events to attend throughout the conference.
