etailinsights Power User Interview
Joseph, what is your favorite restaurant where you live and why?
Los Tacos No. 1 has the best tacos in New York City—no contest. It’s fast, authentic, and always delivers. When you’re craving something simple but exceptional, this spot hits every time.
What drove you to begin a sales career in eCommerce?
The world is getting more interconnected, and eCommerce is one of the most efficient ways to sell at scale. I was drawn to the opportunity to help brands grow globally and adapt to a rapidly evolving digital marketplace.
How does Global-e help etailers?
Global-e helps eTailers navigate the challenges of cross-border commerce. We manage everything from localization and pricing to trade compliance and international logistics. That means brands can scale globally without the typical complexity or risk. We aim to make going global feel as easy as going local.
How are you using etailinsights to find eCommerce leads?
No one likes to receive a cold email that clearly missed the mark—it’s one of the fastest ways to lose trust. I use etailinsights to ensure I’m reaching out to the right companies at the right time. The platform gives me accurate contact information and visibility into each company’s tech stack, which helps me tailor my outreach around specific, real-world challenges. Instead of spraying and praying, I can focus on relevance and value. That means less time chasing down the wrong leads, and more time creating conversations that actually move the needle.
What is your favorite eCommerce Conference any why?
CES is my favorite. While it's not exclusively focused on eCommerce, it consistently pushes the boundaries of technology in business. You leave inspired—and with a much better sense of where innovation is headed.
