Power User Spotlight: Zach Francque, ATTRAQT
Zach's Sales Hack: Personalize Your Emails
The biggest hack that has helped me get more meetings is personalized emails. Taking the extra time to properly research (using etailinsights of course!) and actually write out emails that speak to a prospect’s needs, wants, challenges, etc. gives your email a much better chance of being opened and responded to. Templated email blasts are great and all, but nothing shows how much you really care like a well-written, personalized email. To add one more, pick up the phone! Buyers are very passive as they are bombarded with emails every day. It’s also much harder for them to say NO while you’re on the phone!
etailinsights Power User Interview
Zach, what is your favorite restaurant in Chicago, and why?
Route 66 in Wrigleyville. The Vanilla Bourbon Burger is phenomenal and an essential for a Cubs pregame meal.
What drove you to begin a sales career in eCommerce?
I’ve always wanted to open my own eCommerce store, and I felt a career in eCommerce would help me learn the industry and what retailers are doing to stay ahead. On top of that, I love digital marketing and understanding the various stages of the customer journey and what triggers them to ultimately buy.
How does ATTRAQT help etailers?
ATTRAQT helps retailers create the best online customer experience through our innovative tools that cover key areas of their site including: onsite search, merchandising, and product recommendations. Our tools enable retailers to create dynamic product displays, relevant results, and personalized recommendations that lead to dramatic improvements in Average Order Values and Conversion, to name a few.
How are you using etailinsights to find eCommerce leads?
I use etailinsights to get a good understanding of prospective retailers. Whether that means evaluating their tech stack, finding important contacts or decision makers, or determining the potential fit they would have with ATTRAQT. The ability to search by various platforms, technologies, online revenue, and even Alexa rank makes prospecting much easier. Having that type of knowledge before I call on a prospect is vital in gaining trust and booking meetings with retailers. Since I’m a one-man team in the US, etailinsights has allowed me to be very efficient and has saved me a ton of time.
What is your favorite Top 40 eCommerce Conference and why?
I’ve only been to a few, but Shoptalk wins for me. It feels like the Super Bowl of eCommerce.
