This is perhaps less of a hack and more of a philosophy, but the most important tenets for us to consider when approaching new sellers are transparency and fairness. We are only interested in win-win partnerships, so we'll look to structure transactions that provide maximum value in areas most important to sellers. We're always fully transparent about both our intentions and our thought process. Above all else, we want to be known for doing business the right way, and we've found this philosophy to be a tangible differentiator in attracting sellers.

Jackson, what is your favorite restaurant in NYC?

My favorite restaurant in New York City is Ramen Ishida in the Lower East Side. Every dish I've had there has been delicious!

What drove you to begin a sales career in eCommerce?

I serve in an M&A role for an eCommerce acquisition company called Boosted Commerce. We look to acquire businesses selling primarily through Amazon or through their own direct-to-consumer websites. I came from a banking background but joined Boosted for the opportunity to serve in a more entrepreneurial environment where I could build meaningful connections with sellers. It's been an amazing year with Boosted, and I'm very excited to see where we go from here.

How does Boosted Commerce help etailers? 

Boosted Commerce looks to buy best-in-class eCommerce brands. We can offer healthy upfront consideration along with strong upside potential in the years following an acquisition. We've built a world class operating team that can take consumer brands to new heights. How are you using etailinsights to find eCommerce leads?

We use etailinsights to identify eCommerce brands that may be interested in selling to us. We actively use etailinsights' filtering tools to hone in on well-performing brands in high potential categories. We find the greatest differentiating factor for etailinsights to be the accurate and up-to-date contact information provided on most profile pages. It's a game changer for us to be able to reach the most relevant individuals with our first email or phone call.

What is your favorite Top 40 eCommerce Conference and why?

My favorite eCommerce conference is AMZ Innovate. It brings together a top-notch group of eCommerce sellers.
